With the development of the society, higher requirements are put forward for talents cultivation. A qualified talent should have not only rich knowledge and abilities, but also noble morals and a sound personality. Only with these, can they stand the test of difficulties and setbacks in the intense society competition so as to become a valuable person and promote the development and progress of society.History as a humanities subject is of great advantage in cultivating students’ healthy personality with its rich cultural material. Cultivation of students’ healthy personality in history teaching at high schools reflects the requirements of new curriculum reform and the needs of the individual development for middle school students.Guided by the new curriculum concept, and combined with their own teaching practice, this paper study the cultivation of healthy personality in high school history teaching, employing some teaching cases on healthy personality training. Besides foreword and conclusion, this paper consists of five chapters:Chapter One: the definition of basic concepts, Including "personality", "healthy personality" and "healthy personality cultivation".Chapter Two: the meaning of healthy personality cultivation in high school history teaching in improving the students’ humanistic quality, arousing students’ interest in learning, boosting the learning efficiency, and fostering students’ good psychological quality.Chapter Three: content of healthy personality cultivation in high school history teaching,including the loving and positive attitude towards life, the good quality of morality advocating and kindness orientation, the innovation spirit of loving science and pursuing truth, the willpower of independence, decisiveness, self-control and persistence, and the value pursuit of courage, responsibility and contribution to society.Chapter Four: ways and methods to cultivate healthy personality in high school history teaching, including establishing scientific and reasonable teaching goal, using a variety of teaching methods, carrying out the after-class activities and adopting diversified learning evaluation methods.Chapter Five: matters needing attention on healthy personality cultivation in high school history teaching, including setting up the education idea of healthy personality cultivation,having profound professional knowledge and superb teaching techniques, and promoting the charm of teachers’ personality.
