An Investigation On The Present Situation Of Non - Profit In Non - Governmental Institutions Of Higher Learning

Private college and university is an important part of higher education in our country, and plays an important role in the democratization and universalness of higher education.The development of private colleges and universities has been exploring the way of development for non-profit. According to the relevant laws and regulations in our country, private colleges and universities is of non-profit, however a nonprofit performance is not obvious in the real operation, even to pursue the profits.Based on the existed laws and public welfare characteristics, combing with the basic situations of private colleges in Yang-Lin Vocational Education Park, by the methods that questionnaire survey and structured interviews from the government policy and public welfare organizations for the non-profit status of private colleges and universities, and by the descriptive analysis for the social reputation of the campus, the purpose of running school, the quality of teaching, the level of teachers, the level of running a school, the satisfaction of teachers and students, and the school environment, we summarize the problems of non-profit private colleges and universities.On deviate from public school mission park university department, school income use undeserved, private colleges management on the embarrassing situation of the research results, this paper puts forward the following Suggestions:Public property of higher education is essential. Adhering to the public welfare of the school is not only the premise of the legitimacy of the organization, but also the foundation of the sustainable development of private colleges and universities, from the government and the private colleges and universities we should improve the non-profit degree:Private colleges and universities should strengthen self construction, pay attention to the characteristics and improve the quality of running a the construction of teachers’ team, adhere to the public welfare of education, ensure the quality of education, school level, social reputation, and to adhere to social responsibility, follow the law of education, regulate the standard of financial management, and adhere to the non-profit education. On the other hand, the government should develop the laws and regulations for the development of private colleges and universities as soon as possible, adopt different policies to support the change of nature of the school to give policy follow-up based on the different nature of the colleges and universities, and increase the supervision and support of private colleges and universities, and avoid the deviation in the progress of running school.
