Under the background of information technology, it’s urgent to improve primary school teachers’ management ability for their personal knowledge. This paper researches the relevant theory of personal knowledge management, primary school teachers’ personal knowledge connotation and characteristics, the division of latitude about primary school teachers’ personal knowledge management. On this basis, the author selects five primary schools including 360 teachers from Shandong Province as a sample through the method of random cluster sampling.The author analyzes the differences among primary school teachers’ management ability of their personal Knowledge by the method of literature, investigation, observation, interviewing and so on. Finally the author puts forward some suggestions according to the survey results and reasons.From the study, the author gets the following results. First, primary school teachers’ management ability for their personal knowledge is above the general level. It’s not high for their ability in aspect of knowledge conversion and knowledge sharing, but they have the highest level of knowledge innovation and know ledge acquisition; Second, the survey shows that elementary school teachers’ personal knowledge management has significant differences in different district, education background and age; Third, there are some reasons that lead to the difference among teachers’ management ability for their personal knowledge, for example, the lack of awareness of knowledge management, the lack of theory of self-cultivation, the lack of mutual assistance and the behindhand environment.According to the above conclusions, the author proposes some advice. First of all, increase the primary school teachers’ management consciousness for their personal knowledge; What’s more, improve primary school teachers’ theory training on managing knowledge; In addition,participate in activities about sharing and exchange elementary school teacher’s personal knowledge management; Last but not least, create a conducive environment for teacher’s knowledge management.
