With the continuous development of the organization knowledge management, more attention is paid to personal knowledge management by researchers. Higher education faculty as the knowledge owners, disseminators and creators become research objects naturally.The first part of this paper introduces the domestic and abroad present situation of personal knowledge management, and expatiates on the basic theory of it systematically. Then, based on the analysis of higher education faculty's features, this paper makes new definitions of higher education faculty personal knowledge managements on the content, principle and strategy. The last part takes the daily management activities as the breakthrough point, brings up a series of resolution plan fitting higher education faculty's professional features. This theory resolution plan makes a sufficient elaboration from 6 segments: the acquisition of knowledge, evaluation of knowledge, organization and storage of knowledge, the mining and management of tacit knowledge, the sharing and innovation of knowledge. This technique resolution plan puts forward how to take advantage of searching engine correctly, setting up and application of personal knowledge warehouse , personal knowledge map and use internet tools on personal knowledge management to improve the core-competitiveness.
