With the development of social economy in our country, the phenomenon of aging has already appeared. With the emergence and development of the aging society, pension is no longer problems, and become a business in the country. Shanghai has entered the aging society in 1979, pension business is booming, the pension institution is increasing, nursing staff as directly engaged in aged care practitioners, the professional level is very important, and professional level of nursing staff is determined on the effect of nursing staff training. In the < Interim Provision of the Shanghai Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau on the city pension agency staff training > released in 1999, the provision have explicit requirements for pension institutions of the nursing staff need training certificates. In professional nursing care workers of increasingly high demand today, the training of nursing staff naturally become a problem that we should to pay attention. In this paper, by research on nursing staff training situation, analysis of the problems existing in the training, and put forward reasonable suggestions to solve these problems.The first chapter of this paper is the introduction part, by finishing scholars research on geriatric nursing, nursing staff training research, analysis of the focus of this paper, and the research significance, research purpose, research ideas are introduced.The second chapter is theoretical basis of this paper, though the analysis of the oldage care attendants in nature, definition of the nursing staff training objectives, nursing staff training content determination, and combined with the adult learning characteristics to clear the principle of the nursing staff, to provide the reference and basis of developing the questionnaire pf nurses training and evaluation the effectiveness of nursing staff training.The third chapter is the survey analysis, combined with the contents of the previous chapters, the author compiled the questionnaire of nursing staff training situation, chose aged care workers in the pension institutions in Shanghai, and the pension agency managers were interviewed, through interpretation of the questionnaire and interview results, the basic information and the present situation and problems of nursing staff training has been analysed, thus for the next chapter proposed rationalization proposals provide the basis.The fourth chapter is the countermeasure suggestion part. In the chapter, based on the previous chapters findings and reasons analysis, in order to improve the effect of nursing staff training, improve the professional level of the nursing staff, from the protection of the law and policy, the establishment of training system, optimization of the training courses, improvement of management system, social status promotion proposed suggestions to improve the nursing staff training level. To start from many aspects to enhance the level of quality of nursing staff, so as to improve the service level of the pension institutions, thus contributing to the quality of life of older people in the pension institutions.
