The Study Of Social Work Intervention In The Long-term Care Service For The Elderly In Urban Community

As a process of individual life and the change of population age,the aging has different effects and tests for the family,community and the whole society,which has the greatest impact on family caregivers to take care of the task.Support and respect for the elderly have always been the excellent tradition of our country,but due to the constant changes in the population structure of our country,the care function of urban core family is declining day by day,at the same time that the endowment resources are in short supply and the community resources have not been fully developed and utilized,which make the contradiction between supply and demand of daily life care for the elderly in China more serious.Therefore,how to use professional approach to integrate social resources in order to improve the welfare services for the elderly in urban,to solve the dilemma of long term care for the elderly and to achieve rational and effective allocation of care resources is a social problem that needs to be solved urgently.The Third Plenary Session of the party's eighteen sector pointed out that,in order to solve social problems,we must improve the way of social governance and stimulate the vitality of social organizations.Social work with professional skills,professional value and professional methods,relying on social work organizations,can obtain and use all kinds of social resources from the grassroots to help solve the problem of long-term life care for the elderly,use professional methods to coordinate the relationship between the elderly and the family caregivers,the elderly and the whole community,and finally achieve the effective use of care resources and maximum satisfaction of care needs.In conclusion,this study is based on the collection and collation of the relevant research results of the domestic and foreign academic circles on the long-term care of the elderly,combined with the data from field survey done in the study on the long term care for the elderly in urban,investigating the different patterns of long-term care for the elderly in depth and striving to improve the long-term care services for the urban elderly based on their own needs.The author thinks that long-term care for the urban elderly should continue to be dominated by the family care,supplemented by the community home care,which means to be a new "family + community" long-term care model to deal with the care of the elderly.At the same time of increasing the promotion and implementation of the "family + community" long-term care service model,introduce the perspective of social work,and use professional social work method to dig the potential of the elderly and their family caregivers and help them to establish a strong social support network,so as to promote the professional development of long-term care for the urban elderly.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part is an introduction,focusing on the background and significance of the study,which puts forward the main problems of the study,describes the data sources and research methods,arranges the related research on the elderly,long-term care and social work intervention in the long-term life care services through literature reviews,and explains and defines the relevant concepts involved in this paper.In the second part,based on statistical data,the status of the elderly population,health status,life care situation,caregivers and community services for the elderly aredescribed and analyzed.Secondly,make a systematic analysis on the contradiction between the demand of long term care needs and service supply of the elderly in the J community,based on the status of family care,institutional care and community service.And then sum up the new model of care that can be maximized to meet the daily life of the elderly--"family + community" long-term life care model.The third part firstly analyses the necessity and feasibility of social work intervention in the study of the long-term care services for the elderly in urban through the field survey and literature review.Secondly,this paper introduces the method and content of social work intervention in J community for the elderly long-term care services.The fourth part points out the conclusions of this paper,and systematically analyzes the innovation and deficiency.
