With the new curriculum reform, school education has put much more emphasis on every students’ quality education. Under this background, school education should respect the principal status of the students. Let more students be involved in the teaching process and study independently. With the new curriculum reform carried out nearly in every schools, this paper is going to study the guided learning plan used in the junior middle school. This study is going to apply the guided learning plan in the junior middle school in grade eight to help the students learning by themselves, to cultivate good learning habits, to cultivate their interest in learning physics, to improve the teaching efficiency as well as to light the students’ burden.Before the study, investigation has been conducted in the grade eight students to learn the current situation of using the guided learning plan. The investigation shows the deficiency of the use of the guided learning plan that the students are not active enough, the use of the guided learning plan is still on the paper. The author tried to improve the guided learning plan based on the study the others. In the guided learning plan, it uses many questions to arouse the students’ interest. The study carried out an experiment in some junior middle school in order to find out the effect of the guided learning plan. Evaluate the students in multiple perspectives, their marks, their self-learning measure table and the interview with the teachers and students. The teaching experiment do have some effect, the students are more active, there are developing good learning habits and their marks better. But the effect are not so significant because the lack of time. All in all, the guided learning plan helps the students with their comprehensive ability. but there are still many ways to improve in the guided learning plan. For example, the teachers’ guiding and students’ preview before class. For the deficiency, the author gives his own suggestions on the improvement of the guided learning plan. The guided learning plan keeps the teaching quality and should be studied and generalized.
