As an important part of the student population, Vocational students’ development depends on good career awareness and professional skills. Only with good professional knowledge and skills, can they obtain the business and market recognition so as to gain a better development space. After making a general survey of the current vocational students, a widespread problem is found that their career consciousness is not strong, which makes them hard to meet the needs of enterprise development, and greatly influences their own careers development. Therefore, strengthening vocational students’ career awareness education is imperative.This paper combines the characteristics of China’s vocational schools and the basic situation of vocational school students, makes a comprehensive analysis of the main problems of vocational students’ career awareness education, proposes the strategies of promoting the vocational students’ career awareness education in our country, namely the establishment of Vocational Training philosophy of students’ career awareness education, the exploration of the contents and resources in career awareness education, and the prompt correction of students’ misconceptions and wrong practices, forming the education of culturing the ability and strengthening social professional ethics, getting rid of the wrong career conception and improving the teaching methods according to the career awareness about vocational school education, in order to seek the way of how to effectively combine career awareness education and daily education, to fully improve vocational students’ career awareness.
