A Comparative Study Of Primary And Middle School Life Curriculum In China And Japan

Primary life course is a new integrated curriculum since the 20 th centuryit. It is based on the lower primary students’ life and it can help students to acquire the knowledge and skills what the life needs.Life course has a significant role for younger students to develop good character and behavior. It’s also has a significant role for younger students to improve their self- care ability and life skills.Our country set of primary school life course "Moral and Life" in 2001,Japan sets life course "Life Lesson" in 1989. There are many similarities between C hinese and Japanese primary life course,but Japanese "life lesson" is development of more perfect.This paper focuses on the life course between C hinese and Japanese primary school through a comparative study of literature analysis, comparative study and qualitative research. According to the order of curriculum design and development,the research is compare with four dimensions: curriculum standard, textbook,curriculum implementation and curriculum evalua tion.The first part is compare with the curriculum standards framework, curriculum objectives, curriculum content, implement suggestion; The second part is compare with the textbook compilation and validation, content framework, presentation form and presentation way; The third part is compare with the importance of the curriculum, teachers, curriculum arrangement and resource utilization, the comparison of classroom teaching; The fourth part makes a comparative study of the curriculum evaluation syste m; The fifth part above the similarities and differences between C hinese and Japanese primary life course,and get the reflection and enlightenment of the development for C hinese primary life course.
