With the development of science and technology, the Internet comes closer to our lives. In rural areas, wit h living standards increasing, most households have a computer and internet. But those traditional rural areas a re relatively remote. It is much easier for high school students to be addicted to Internet. Therefore, only when we finish the research on the Rural Internet Addiction situation and come up with countermeasures and suggest ions can we offer students the accessible and positive internet, thus promoting the students’mental and physica 1 development and providing a reference for the normal education and school management.First,with the questionnaire on how the students use network, we learn the basic situation of rural network usage; Using Chinese Internet Addiction Scale by Chen Shuhui we diagnose whether students are addicted to I nternet or not; We explore the causes of students’addiction to network by analysing way of family education. high school students’physical and mental state and life pressure, thus coming up with some suggestions on im proving students’literacy in the aspects of family, school, social network environment. During the survey, we t otally choose 18 classes ranging from senior one to senior three in three Danyang high schools. Among the 738 questionnaires 716 questionnaires are valid and the experimental datas are statistically analyzed.Research results are as follows:1,8.7% is the internet addiction rate in Danyang three rural high schools. Compared with girls,boys are more likely to be addicted to Internet and students of different grades have no differences in internet addiction.2, Much time spent on network is closely related to internet addiction. Data shows that the more time spent on internet, the severer Internet addiction. In addition, when to start surfing the internet shouldn’t be ignored;3.In terms of Internet content, Internet addicts tend to play games, and browse pornographic websites; Ho wever Non internet addicts mainly focus on chatting online and looking up data:4, In the way of family education, Internet addicts would be punished and refused by fathers, while mothers would offer excessive interference protection and preference;5, Internet addicts’rating scale of the factor scores are above average in compulsion, depression, anxiety, hostility, paranoia, psychotic symptom;6, Internet addicts’rating scale of the factor scores are above average in interpersonal relationships, study pressure, being punished, the health adaptation;7, Senior school students in rural areas being addicted to network is due to social network environment, way of rural family education, mental and physical characteristics of students, school educational evaluation methods;8, Let’s join forces, focus on students internet addiction phenomenon. Government, teachers, parents, students should take their responsibilities, work together to help students out of internet addiction.
