With the reform and development of basic education, educators and researchers focus on junior middle school students learning problems, not only discusses the middle school classroom learning, also including the learning in family environment, venues (museums, science and technology museum, library, etc.), online learning, community and social environment. The museum learning is a kind of informal learning ways, is mainly refers to learners in the knowledge of science and technology culture art learning in various venues or public places of education. Museum learning can improve learners’ autonomous learning ability, enriching the content of learning, improving learners’ learning style, and also can promote the social development of the learners. With the development of museum learning, various of museums and venues became the important study areas in student learning. Based on the existing museum learning’ researches, the development about junior high school students’ museum learning is in a low level now, studying in school classroom is still the main part of students’ learning lives, the museum education resources didn’t get the schools and teachers’ positive use.This paper take an example of Yangzhou city, throughing questionnaire and interview survey method, inspecting the junior high school students’ understandings of museum learning, contents, methods, the effects of learning and the teachers’ guidance about junior high school students’ museum learning. Analyzing the problems in detail about the lack of museum learning experiences, the cultural relics and historical knowledge are too much and the inquiry learning is still in the low level in middle high school students’ museum learning. Besides, the teachers’ guidance in middle high school students’ venue learning lack of venues education programming, the learning content and school course correlation is low in junior high school students’ museum learning under the guidance of teachers and students’ museum learning effects about the evaluation way in the written form is less. On the basis of further explore the reasons, giving the guiding strategies:draw lessons from foreign experiences in building the positive interactive between the school and venues, called on the government and society to enhance support. Setting up outlook to make museums as educational resources, promoting teachers’ museums teaching monitoring ability, using the knowledge in museums to broaden the courses in junior high school students learning contents, attaching more importance about the using of science and technology in venue to enhancing inquiry learning capacities. Establishing a variety of evaluation form to improve venues’learning interests and promoting the development of stadiums in junior high school students’ venue learning interest.
