In recent years, with the setting and reformation of the new curriculum and the continuous implementation on it, it has become a common sense in education field to put the pluralism and diversity through the middle school geography teaching, focus o n cultivate students’ critical thinking, innovation consciousness and practice ability ha s become a consensus of the education sector. However, it is no longer acommodate t o the developing of the geography teaching for the obsolete teaching idea, simplificati on teaching way,the immobilization of teaching organization form and the single teac hing content in traditional concept of geography teaching.Therefore,it has become an urgent problem needed to be resolved in the current curriculum reform to explore, research,and construct suitable new teaching mode under the concept of education.Based on the above, the paper, using the method of literature, questionnaire, inte rview, experiment and so on carries out on the study of Middle School Geography M odular Teaching. The main research contents and results are as follows.1. The Research on the feasibility of the implementation of modular teaching. Firstly, my research is to define the modular education and geography modular teachi ng, and to point out that Geographical modular teaching lies in the middle school stud ents, stressing development, the cultivation of ability, cooperation spirit and innovati on consciousness, which has the characteristics of subjectivity, openness, flexibility a nd so on.Then based the on Zankov’s DevelopmentTeaching Theory, Babanski Optimal Teaching Theory,STS Teaching Theory,and the Cognitivism Learning Theory, Construction Learning Theory, Humanistic Learning Theory and so on, combined with the reality,which research on the feasibility of the implementation of modular teaching.2. Research on the construction of the Middle School Geography Modular Teaching.Firstly, based on the related teaching theory and learning theory,to researc h and discuss the modular teaching’s goal, method and means.Secondly, according to the modular teaching characteristics, through deep study of "Curriculum Standards", "Curriculum Outline" and "Examination Description",the Shandong Education Editon Textbooks and other threet of versions of textbooks, and basied on survey result of "High School Geography Teaching Content Questionnaire" to adjust, regroup, delete, add the modular teaching system and to build new teaching module so that could form the basic module and supermarket module.3. Analysis of Middle School Geography Teaching Modular implementation effect.The results of the experimental class and the control class before and after the e xperiment were compared and analyzed, and from teaching effectiveness point, the p erspective of students and teachers, practical effect of this experiment will be held a multi-angle analysis and draw conclusions, Modular teaching is superior to traditional teaching. Fristly, Modular Teching improves students’ academic performance. Secondly, Modular Teaching improves students’ learning interest. Then, Modular Teaching is more conducive to learning innovation, ability to cooperate,to explore consciousness, practical ability.Although Because thatsuperficial knowledge,capacity-constrained,experimental short implementation time and Less sample quantity, shortcomings which lead to the result of the experiment. But the Modular Teaching in Middle School Geography Teaching’s implement is feasible, what’s more, Modular Teaching also improves a new mind in the future teaching reform.
