Secondary vocational education bears the heavy responsibility of cultivating technical talents in the first line,and it is the direction of the reform and development of secondary vocational education in our country how to cultivate the high quality and skills talents in line with the needs of individuals and the society.Based on the STEAM education concept,the modular teaching of compulsory courses for secondary vocational majors focuses on cultivating students’ learning interest,interdisciplinary thinking and vocational concept in order to improve students’ basic skills and comprehensive ability.Based on the STEAM education concept,this study carried out modular teaching design for compulsory courses of secondary vocational majors,and applied it to Windows Server 2008 course of secondary vocational majors,which provided effective reference and reference for the teaching design of compulsory courses of secondary vocational majors,and had certain research value and significance.This study is mainly divided into the following parts:First,the relevant concepts are sorted out.By using the literature research method,this paper makes a theoretical analysis and summary of STEAM education concept and modular teaching by referring to relevant literatures and scholars’ works,and expounds the relevant theories involved in this research on the basis of the definition of concepts.Secondly,the teaching situation is analyzed.By comprehensive analysis of relevant literature,this paper summarizes the characteristics of compulsory courses for secondary vocational majors,and conducts questionnaire survey on students and teacher interviews for compulsory courses for secondary vocational computer majors to analyze the problems existing in compulsory courses for professional majors and their attribution.At present,there are some problems in the compulsory courses of computer major in secondary vocational schools,such as unclear modular teaching objectives,one-sided modular teaching content,formalization of modular teaching implementation and single evaluation of modular teaching.Thirdly,the modular teaching design is carried out.On the theoretical basis of STEAM education concept,the teaching design scheme is formulated in combination with the modular teaching design principle of compulsory courses for secondary vocational majors based on STEAM education concept.Based on the STEAM education concept,this study follows the principle of taking the project as the main line,the principle of cultivating comprehensive ability and the principle of multiple dynamic evaluation,and carries out modular teaching design for the compulsory courses of secondary vocational majors.The concrete teaching design idea is to expect learning effect,reconstruct teaching content and implement teaching activities.The instructional design process mainly includes identifying key post abilities,clarifying course training objectives,designing course teaching modules,creating real work situations,implementing group collaborative exploration,and multiple evaluation of learning effects.The case design is carried out by taking "Windows Server 2008 Course",a compulsory course for secondary vocational majors,as an example.Finally,the teaching practice and analysis are carried out.Based on the "Windows Server 2008" course to carry out teaching practice,teaching process from the idea of the work,design scheme and production process to analyze and evaluate the learning effect.At the same time,after the teaching practice,the teaching effect of this research is analyzed through the questionnaire survey of students,the results of theory test,the results of practice operation and the interview of teachers.The results of teaching practice show that the modular teaching practice of compulsory courses for secondary vocational majors based on STEAM education concept improves students’ learning interest,interdisciplinary thinking and career concept in learning compulsory courses,and improves students’ development level in three levels:theoretical knowledge,learning emotional attitude and practical operation. |
