Now we have stepped into a picture reading epoch, and all the mass media such as films, TV programs, radio, Internet and newspapers have spread out vast amounts of visual information in various forms and means of manufacturing. Meanwhile the visual information such as images and video has swept and flooded every corner of people’s lives, and thus people’s experience has become more Visualized and concrete than ever. Whether it is a newspaper or magazine, textbooks or reading materials, the shares of the images and pictures are rising continuously, which give the Chinese language discipline a strong impact focusing on the ability of students to use language and character, so how to deal with such a situation is an important issue the Chinese subject confronted.The development of the times has made people change in reading, and now people not only read the text in the text, but also read the images. The way of image interpreting and image creating to communicate has become an essential life skill of expression for the people in this time. Comics is a kind of image, but also the reading materials frequently appeared in middle school students reading life, the influence on students can not be underestimated. Many language teachers have begun to use comics in their teaching courses, and some of them have also done a lot of related research. But in the past, the comics is mainly used in the courses of the comic –type teaching or writing teaching, but the other aspects related have not been adopted greatly. The comics used in the past teaching are the traditional cartoons, and the scope of the study and teaching on cartoons is quite limited. Based on this point, this passage is trying to expand the scope of comics for language teaching under the circumstances of existing research. The article is attempting to discuss the strategy from such aspects as reading teaching, writing teaching, oral communication teaching and the study by research. That the comic is used in language teaching has also its own problem. This article is trying to improve the teaching effect of comics by promoting the ability of teachers in using comics for language teaching and make the comic research and development a language teaching resource by guiding students to correctly understand and treat the position of comics in Chinese language.
