All the time, educators have attached great importance to the design and development of video resources to stimulate the interest in learning and enhance the learning effect. With the development of “micro” learning in recent years, Micro-Video also gradually stepped from the field of commerce into education and became a new research hotspot in education. As the mobile phone, PDA, personal computer and other equipments are becoming increasingly popular in the university campus, the content and form of learning are greatly enriched and expanded. Meanwhile, learning is no longer restricted by time and space through repeated playing in order to achieve the skills and construct the knowledge. With the rapid development of technology of network and communication recently, pre-service teachers’ education has become one important part of teacher training. At the same time, the ability of modern education technology turned to be an essential quality to every teacher, especially pre-service teachers(i.e. normal students). In this context, we will explore how to promote the effect of modern education technology training on pre-service teachers by Micro-Video.Firstly, the background and the problem. We do some research on the situation of teachers’ education technology skills and the learning situation of those abilities of pre-service teachers through literature, preliminary questionnaire survey and interviews.Secondly, the research of theoretical basis. We reviewed the theory of education technology learning and video teaching. Then we extracted integral feature of design model of Micro-Video education and put forward the design draft based on the theory of instructional design. At last, we brought in Micro-Video theme to generate the model considering the design and making of Micro-Video.Thirdly, the design, development and application of Micro-Video. This research has ascertained the advantages of Micro-Video and its application value in the educational technology training. Based on the problems in the process of education technology learning, we determine the theme of Micro-Video and elaborate the principle of Micro-Video design and application and its scope of application. We develop the Micro-Video and apply it through three kinds of learning schemes. During this process, we gradually perfect the experimental scheme.Fourthly, the analysis of the investigation results and the research of validity. We collected the users’ feedback by the way of test, questionnaire and interview. Then we explore the validity of Micro-Video application through the analysis of these feedbacks.This paper provides references to the design and application of education technology training. It has certain research significance. But Micro-Video teaching technology cannot replace the traditional education skills training and it can be only the supplementary of traditional teaching.
