Employment is the bedrock of people’s livelihood while college student’s employment is the core of all kinds of employments. The reason is that college student’s employment is not only their own benefits but also those thousands of families’ benefits.What is more importance, college student’s employment involves issues on the backup and increase of our national human resources, which directly influence our nation’s economic prosperity, social stability.China is and will be in a rather awkward situation currently and for a long period of time. On one hand, the social economy is highly developing, on the other hand, the employment elasticity is constantly weakening. On one hand, the human resource reserve for college students in quite rare; on the other hand, the unemployment proportion of college graduates is so high. In this situation, to solve this issue becomes important and urge. What’s more, according to other research, compared to male, it’s more difficult for female to be employed.This paper is aim to research the problem of college graduates’ employment. Firstly,the author do some research about college student’s employment from university located in Qingdao. Secondly, the author try to find the problem and the gender difference.Thirdly, the author try to find the reason. Finally, the author put forward ways to solve the issues on the employment of college students in light of relevant people. The author hope the government and the society, universities, students themselves to promote the full employment of college students together. The government should create a good employment environment through the establishment of human capital oriented talent,strengthen the economic hard public sector and law units to create a good employment environment; and the universities should reform the higher education content, innovate education method, optimize the educational management to improve college students’ content of human capital; university students should improve their comprehensive quality, adjust the employment expectation and behavior and develop rational social capital to enhance their competitiveness to be employed.
