The basic computer education has been laid more and more stress on in the vocational senior middle schools, which cultivate the medium practical person with ability. But teaching contents of it of the vocational senior middle schools are out of date , so it must be reformed. Facing the swift and violent development of computer technology iii the 21 St century, how will the basic computer education accommodate this change How will the teaching contents reform How can the students achieve their sustainable development Basing on the question above, this paper studies the teaching contents of the basic computer education based on the vocational senior schools in Shapingba. It demonstrates some issues and references in the process of reforming. And then it summarizes the practice and experience of the reformation in the vocational senior schools in recent years. Finally, the paper further cdnsiders the deepening of the curricula reformation in vocational senior education. This dissertation also of some significance and value to the reformation of primary & Middle school and the vocational senior schools from theory to practice. This paper is divided into four parts: First part: It puts forward the view that the teaching contents must be reformed on the basis of statistics and analysis of the present state of education in vocational senior schools. And then it demonstrates some issues and references in the process of reforming. Second part: It demonstrates some issues aiid references in the process of the trends of the basic computer education, the computer technology and the objectives of vocational senior schools. It also demonstrates the theory of the reform of teaching contents including the pedagogical theory and the design of basic computer education facing the 21 St century. Third part: It summarizes the practice and experience of the reformation in the vocational senior schools. We should properly deal with the relationship the DOS platform and WINDOWS platform, knowledge and skill, basics and tendency and advancement and possibility. The teaching contents should embody the characteristic of width, simplicity, usage, and up-to-date. Last part: It further considers the deepening of the curricula reformation in vocational senior education. Better results of the reformation of teaching contents can be achieved if emphasis is land on the reformation of present teaching methods the improvement of teaching staff and the realization of the objectives of application ability, it also puts forward the thought on setting up a movable teaching program.
