This article is written from the requirement of quality education, and from the requirement of the 21st century for the talents' education .We are attempting to conduct the research study in the teaching of chemistry, to combine the achievements in research, to integrate the practice in the high school's teaching, and to develop preliminary activities from a new point of view and in a systematic way.Aim of the article is to provide some theoretical and practical evidence in order to carry out the research study, probe into fostering students with innovation spirit and practice abilities during the course of our teaching. The necessity and importance of setting up the research study are expounded in detail; the concrete ideas are put forward; the model, method, steps and the simple evaluation method are discussed.Finally, the actual effects in the application of chemistry teaching are illustrated. Several thoughtful questions and suggestions are raised, which will do some good for the research study. At the same, as a new course system, research study is still at the very beginning in our school, many problems are to be resolved, and several tasks are to be deepened and raised.
