Taiwan, The Mainland Grade 1-9 Mathematics Curriculum Reform Study

In order to meet 21st century's challenge, no matter how developed countries or developing countries they are. All of them are adjusting their training objective and reforming the model of qualified personnel and do all one can to train large numbers of qualified personnel with pioneering spirit. They can meet the needs of modem society and possess active abilities. In order to make it a reality, the people who are change of education have reformed the course of mathematics and issued the new criterion of the respectively. According to the criterion of the mathematical curriculum in the interior of our country and Taiwan province respectively. According to the criterion of the mathematical curriculum for the Full -Time - Nine - Year compulsory schooling Education (published by Education Department in July,2001)and The interim courses' Regulations mathematics for the National Nine - Year consistent schooling Education(issued by Taiwan Educational Branch in 2001).hi this article, I adopt the analytical, systematical, comparative and statistical methods and point out the differences in all respects, such as the theory of designing the course, the teaching aim, the content of course and strategies. I also find out what we can learn and what we can use in our education, such as the explicimess of the theory of the course, the clear arrangement of the teaching aim, the change ability of the content of the course and the operability of the course .All of these can strive us to research, the new reasonable theories for attentions from various of circles in society, especially the middle school teachers and the elementary school teachers. There by, we can quicken our reforming steps, increase the reforming qualities, and advance our mathematical course to develop better and highly.
