The education reform of Taiwan that called 9-year consistent curriculum was republished in September 1998. After 2 or 3-year-experiment, this curriculum reform carried out in 2001, hurriedly. This curriculum reform was compared to"education revolution in silence", its ideas, designation,process and present conditions, becoming focal point above reproach.Announced in September 1998, carried out in 2001, Taiwan 9-year consistent curriculum, under background of the demand of talented person for society,curriculum value changing,rationality of curriculum structure has been questioned, people's values multiple gradually and the tendency of the world education reform, taking three big goals, ten capabilities as the indicators, divides all disciplines into seven studies domains such as language, mathematics, arts and humanities, nature, life science and technology, health and sports, society and so on .The designation of the curriculum reform follows ideas such as conformity, elasticity and based on school, by specialization, discrete choice, organization and integration, experiment for principle. The implement of this 9-year consistent curriculum reform, regards promotion, inspiration, adeptest and study as principle. Adopts a lot of strategies, such as training and propaganda, guarantee the implement of this 9-year consistent curriculum reform.However, this curriculum reform is not problem-free. Short experiment, rapidly implement, Taiwan 9-year consistent curriculum obtains some achievements and causes lots of problem at the same time, becoming the worried point of Taiwan's populace.The dissertation consists of six parts:The preface introduces the reason of studying Taiwan 9-year consistent curriculum reform and the mean of this.Part one introduces background of Taiwan 9-year consistent curriculum reform, including the demand of talented person for society,curriculum value changing,rationality of curriculum structure has been questioned, people's values multiple gradually and the tendency of the world education reform,the idea of Taiwan 9-year consistent curriculum reform and gives some comments.Part two introduces the principle of the designation of Taiwan 9-year consistent curriculum reform, idea and its process.Part three introduces the principle of Taiwan 9-year consistent curriculum reform, its process and strategies.Part four introduces the realities of Taiwan 9-year consistent curriculum reform.Part five summer Taiwan 9-year consistent curriculum reform and give some advices to mainland china.
