Mr.Taoxingzhi was the pioneer of creative education in modern China, who proposed "the creative education thought" that aims at training the creative talented people and raising the sense of innovation In view of the malpractice in the old China that the education was far beyond the reality. Regarding the idea of "To gain knowledge begins at acts; however, you can not act successfully without knowledge." as its theoretical basis and "how to lead your life" as the contents, "the creative education thought" stresses the integration of "teaching", "studying"and "doing", trying to liberate, raise and develop students' creative.Meanwhile, the thought implements the creative education by means of "enlightening", "voluntariness" and "using the head and hands at the same time" and so on. "The creative education thought" is a new teaching theory, which has the Chinese characteristics and reflects the developing momentum of the world's teaching theory. It not only made a unique contribution to Chinese teaching theory when put forward, but also has an important realistic significance for the reform and development of the socialist education strive in today's China.Taoxingzhi's idea made us clear that in today's advocated "quality education", to stress the training of the creative talented people is realistically significant for Chinese people's revitalization and development.Meanwhile, Taoxingzhi's "creative education thought" can be feasibly referred to the concrete practice of the contemporary reform of the Chinese education in China,Through analyzing Taoxingzhi's "creative education thought", we really found that today's Chinese education lacks the training of student's creative ability,remains a unilateral teaching and studying goal which is merely for exams; With simple teaching contents,the textbooks didn't reflect the flexibility of "To suit measures to conditions of different places, schools and students." People only attach importance to "the first (curricular) class" while ignores "the second (extracurricular) class" when arranging student's subjects; The teaching methods is too rigid, which restrict students to form their creative power;The teaching environments is oppressive and lacks an atmosphere of creativity.After analyzing and discussing the above mentioned phenomena, we believe that in today's Chinese teaching reform,we should further make the teaching goal clear, adjust teaching contents, improve teaching methods and build a democratic and harmonious teaching atmosphere,raise more and better creative talented people so as to make our country ever -winning when competing with other countries today's "times of knowledge".
