Group cooperative learning is a reform in the traditional teaching methods and an urgent demand upon the educational development .It is an effective way to put the quality-oriented education into practice. It takes the tissue form of heterogeneous group, It's based on group cooperation aiming at students to achieve the same learning target after cooperation among group members and the reward is given according the performance of the whole group, it's a instruction strategy which helps to bring about cognition and emotion .The thesis is to discuss the problems of group cooperative learning from theoretical and practical points of view by taking up the following points one by one, which are: the latest development ,theoretical basis practical tactics and the test in practice.一 the presentation of the question. Along with the development of globalization of economy and specialization of occupation, cooperation has become a very important quality for people to exist and develop in the modern world, all creative study will be total work, need team cooperation, together creation, so it's a new demand on education as well. However, there is great deficiency existing in the traditional competitive grading system which has hindered the development of their classmates, so their sense and ability of co-operation couldn't be given a full cultivation which is harmful to students' mental healthy. After summarizing and analyzing the current situation of each country's research into this field, the definition of group cooperative learning is revealed.二 the basis of theory. The thesis concludes the following content: 1. Group co-operation and discussion can help students construct their cognition system actively, so group cooperative learning is guided by constructivism .2. In cooperative group the main status and emotion of students themselves will be highly stressed, which is in accordance with the idea of humanism.3. According to the theory of system, different group members are different in intelligence, cognition structure, cognition style that could help them draw inspiration and complement from each other and then get new ideas after the collision of different opinions.4. According to the motivational theory,group members will encourage and help each other to achieve the success of group .5. After consultation and controvert, group's members may get inspiration from each other and a new "latest development zone "will be created, in which students' ability to solve problems will be greatly improved.6. Students can reconstruct and elaborate what they have learned after absorbing each other's advantages, and make information preserve and link with previous information in memory, strengthen studying effect .7. According to the theory of reward structure, helpful inter-dependence among group members can be formed in a group cooperative learning, classmates can help and encourage each other, work hard to succeed, then make the group succeed.8. Group cooperative learning basing on independence and exploration falls on the research learning, students "do " mathematics with their hands and brains, consummate and re-organize their cognitive structure by applying intuition, analog, induce and guess, cultivate the ability of discovering and resolve problems.三 The experimental conception of group cooperative learning .In order that this teaching strategy could be carried out properly, the following respects have been researched: 1. The construction of each group, according to the principle which is "heterogeneous in a group, identical among groups", all students are divided into several groups, in each group there is four or five students. They are different in sex, interest, ability and scores, so that a reasonable collocation forms.2. The way dividing the students, the dividing must be made by teachers, can't be made by students freely, So that the composition of groups is optimized greatly.
