Since twentieth Century,we have shown great interest in the group activities,and we are still exploring it even nowadays.It is raised because of the form of learning for students.Nowadays,the key point of the reform and development of basic education in China lies in the strengthening classroom teaching reform and improving classroom efficiency by changing teaching methods and learning methods.No matter at home or abroad,plenty of teaching models have been put forward in many schools,among which group cooperative learning has been recognized by many people and has achieved great success.The implementation of curriculum reform began in 2002 in our country,in which we have strongly advocated group cooperative learning.During the past ten years,due to the efforts and exploration of many front-line teachers,and their summary and improvement of the teaching practice,group cooperative learning has achieved remarkable results throughout the country,and has become one of the main models of the current classroom teaching.However,in the practical teaching process,there are still some problems that affect the efficiency of the group cooperative learning.For example,the lack of consciousness of cooperative learning and cooperation skills,and the imperfect evaluation mechanism.Therefore,the primary task of teachers in the implementation of cooperative teaching is to solve the above problems,and then improve the efficiency of cooperative learning,making students get the greatest development in the group activities,and enabling the group to achieve high efficiency through cooperating.This requires teachers to conduct research and exploration through their teaching practice.Based on the theory of group cooperative learning,The author chose the students from two parallel classes of Wuhai No.1 Middle School as the research subjects to explore the effectiveness of the group cooperative learning.In the Control Class,the teacher adopted traditional teaching mode,that is to say that teachers would carried out the lessons according to certain teaching goals.While in the Experimental Class,teachers used the groupcooperative learning model,which means that the class relied on the "three papers"(pre-class preview paper,the class inquiry paper and after class training paper)to complete the study task.In the actual teaching process,teacher made great efforts to organize extracurricular activities to create a relaxed and harmonious learning atmosphere for students,and gave students enough cooperation time in the classroom,so that every student could get involved in the activities and discuss with others.By comparing and analyzing the academic achievement,learning ability and thinking ability between the Control Class and the Experimental Class,and combining the questionnaire survey data of the Experimental Class,the author found that cooperative learning is indispensable in the teaching.And the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The group cooperative learning can realize the goals mentioned in the curriculum standard,that is,we should take the student as the center of learning and strengthen the subjective consciousness students;(2)It can cultivate the student's group consciousness,make the students communicate with each other to realize the complementary advantages and promote the changes of the learning way.(3)It can stimulate the potential of students and help most students to improve themselves in all aspects;(4)It can train the students to learn chemistry actively and improve their learning efficiency;(5)It is beneficial to helping the whiz kids make progress rapidly,as well as improving their learning ability and academic performance;(6)It can help students learn to get along with others and form a correct appraisement conception.Combining the teaching practice with the research cases,the author put forward the specific strategies for the effective implementation of the group cooperative learning,which includes the formation of the groups,the cultural construction of the group,the qualitative and quantitative evaluation mechanism of group cooperative learning,the selection of the cooperative content,the training of the cooperative skills and the control of the cooperation period.Teachers have certain standards about the group cooperative learning in class and play an effective role in group cooperative learning.
