Curriculum reform is the core of educational reform, and curriculum reform itself is a complex and hard systematic project that relates to the factors of society and curriculum itself. Curriculum reform is affected by many factors that are interior and exterior, macroscopic and microscopic, such as politics, economy, culture, teachers and public opinions. It may meet various problems and may appear all kinds of results unexpectedly. Thus, curriculum reform can't be successful once for all and can't reach the very goal by single effort, it needs all people's attention and support. After World War II, a series of curriculum reforms have been launched in many countries. There are some differences between their actual effects and the expectant goals. However, there are many experiences for us to learn while there are many problems for us to think further. Only pay more attention to all these problems, analyze them further, can we serve the new curriculum reform better, promote curriculum reform, make curriculum reform go forward towards the expectant goal. The whole thesis is made up of four sections. The first section: Preface. This section expounds briefly the present situation and research significance of this research topic. The second section: Analyzes the causes arising the gap between the actual result and the expectant goal of curriculum reform. This section mainly analyzes the causes from two aspects: the external and internal factors that relate to the socialbackground, the public attitude, the legislation and the foundation of theory and practice. The third section: Research on countermeasures. On the basis of the cause analysis, from the ideal of education and curriculum to the curriculum development, from the curriculum research to the curriculum management, from the teacher's participant to the social support, this sector puts forward eight countermeasures which should be paid attention to in curriculum reform. The fourth section: Conclusion.
