To implement quality education, to lighten the excessive schoolwork burden on the students, and to heighten the quality of classroom teaching, one has to start with every sector of education teaching. Mathematics assignment is one important sector of mathematics teaching. At present, it is of vital importance to re-recognize and analyze the teaching of mathematics assignment, to overcome the disadvantages of traditional teaching and to infiltrate the concepts of modern teaching.This paper finds out the concrete implicatinon of assignment teaching on the basis of consulting the documents such as Lexicon , Encyclopaedia on China Education. This paper refers to and analyzes the current study conditions and anasyzes in detail the existing problems in assignment teaching in Secondary normal schools at present, such as a lack of variety of exercise problems,a lack of practice or of the relations to the practice or other subjects, individual operation in doing one's assignment and some problems in the teachers' evaluating and feedbacking of the assignment. On the basis of "Mathematics for all",cognition construction theory, the theory of modern mathematics course and the system theory etc., this paper analyzes the theoretical basis of teaching reforms of mathematics assignment and points that assignment teaching should adhere to such principles as purpose, levels,typification and "using a small force to defeat a large one" .flexibility and varity.On the basis of consulting a host of documents, this paper divides the mathematics assignments into three parts: (l).designing and organizing of the mathematics assignment (2).reading and amending of mathematics assignment (3).evaluating and feed backing of mathematics assignment.With regard to the exsisting problems in assignment teaching ,this paper supplies the concrete improving measures ; in designing mathematics assignment, a variety of assignment, including written one, should be designed,such as reading assignment, topic assignment and experiment assignment ; in organizing assignment, the variety form of individual should be broken while the communicative dicussion and cooperation in groups should be recommended on the presupposition of think independently; in reading and amending assignment, many methods should be taken, including some assignments done by the teachers.the rest by the students,or all by the students for each other ,or all by the groups.Especially the comments play an essential part in this respect. In feedbacking the unitary feedbacking form of the "teacher-to-the-student" should be broken, while such feedbacking form asmuili-angle, tereoscopic one should be advocated; In evaluating, the teachers' evaluating, "self-evaluating" and evaluating each other of the students should be organically fused. The aims of this paper lie in as following:1. Find out the concrete implication of mathematics assignment and analyze the existing problems in mathematics assignment2. Put forward the improving measures and put them into practice and study in accordance with the problems3. Through the practice, make the three sectors, i.e. designing and organizing, reading and amending, evaluating and feed backing, into a virtuous circle of dynamic system to promote the students' mathematics quality and individual developmentOn the basis of consulting a host of documents, this paper divides the mathematics assignments into three parts: (l).designing and organizing of the mathematics assignment (2).reading and amending of mathematics assignment (3).evaluating and feed backing of mathematics assignment .And this paper enumerates the current existing problems in mathematics assignment from three aspects respectively and raise specific improving measures through practice.Guided by the modern education teaching concepts, on the basis of practice, by the method of contrasting equal group, this paper makes an experiment with two teaching classes at ZiBo Normal School.The following main conclusions can be drawn from the experiment study of m...
