With the rise of the network society, our society will experience tremendous vibration and world-shaking innovation. Social conditionality of the relation between teacher and student makes it possible that the network society leads to the rupture of the traditional relation between teacher and student and the appearance of new relation between teacher and student. However, there is almost no contemporary research on pedagogy involving the relation between teacher and student in the networked society though some of them involve the network education. So systemic research and analysis on inevitability of reconstruct of the relation between teacher and student in the network society will be provided. The whole paper is divided into four sections:In introduction part, analysis on background of the main topic of the thesis is given. From the viewpoint of the network recombining social conformation, the inevitability of innovation on traditional education is illuminated; From the viewpoint of the importance of the relation between teacher and student on education, the deconstruct and reconstruct of the relation between teacher and student owning to the impact of network is analyzed; The intention of the thesis is also shown clearly and a simple illumination on the connotation of the pre-network society and the network society is also given. The relation between teacher and student discussed in the thesis is limited in the scope from that in higher grade in elementary school to that in the university. In the first part, the relation between teacher and student in the pre-network society is analyzed. That is to say, teacher plays a principal role and is at the center of the relation between teacher and student, while student plays a subsidiary role and is at the brim of the relation between teacher and student; According the viewpoint of objectivism on knowledge and learning, teaching process is that teacher moves knowledge into the presumptively blank brain of student. So teacher is at the center of instruction while student is treated as a container to store knowledge passively. The relation between teacher and student become instrumental. In the second part, the rupture of the traditional relation between teacher and student, which is caused by the wallop of the network, is analyzed. It is seen in the following aspects. Firstly, the non-peer-to-peer and hierarchy of the traditional relation between teacher and student is annihilated by the network culture. Secondly, the multipolar-subject thinking mode of the network society will be modeled into the multipolar-subject intercourse mode, and the intercourse between teacher and student will be transformed from subject-object mode to intersubjective mode. With it, the inequality on the relation between teacher and student in the pro-network society is clearup and the phenomena of teacher-centered will disappear eventually; Thirdly, the powerful search engine and super large capacity of learning resource provided by the network will minish teacher's role as a intellective authority, and the traditional role of teacher and student has to be transformed. Teacher's role is transformed from the previous knowledge initiator and controller of teaching process to the learning partnership of students, while student's role from the passive knowledge receiver to active learner. In the third part, the skeleton of theory on reco...
