We can assume that the quality of primary school education links directly to the teacher. And we can futher assume that primary school teacher quality rest on their professional development of teachers.Part 1 provides a context for the details about the teachers professional development: professional knowledge, skills, morality and spirits, and we emphasis the importance of morality and spirits.Part 2 analyses the current primary school teachers professional development in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province .We discuss with the primary school students ,their parents, the will-be teachers, the teachers and find that the professional development of primary school teachers in the area is not so satisfied, especially their morality and spirits are criticized.Part 3 mainly focuses on the reasons that cause the primary school teachers to lose their hearts about their profession, and that cause the parents to lose the confidence about the school teaching, and that lead fewer excellent students to join the work though some of them really enjoy the time with the children.Part 4 bases on the analysis of the reasons ,it gives the advice on the improvement of the primary school teacher profession.
