Education Role In Boosting Regional Economic Research

Many economists devote to researching the effect of education or higher education on the economy from the 1950s'. But the nowadays research has focused on the whole country in the midterm and long- term .The research on a single region in the short term is absent. The article analyzes the impact of higher education on a single region from qualitative and quantitative angle in the short term with the data of 1999.The paper consists of three chapters and the main content is as follows:The first chapter introduces two important problems - the attachment of the education industry and the industrization of higher education. It includes the background and significance of the industry and industrization of higher education . Then analyzes the condition of Chinese higher education..The second chapter mainly discuss the effect of higher education on the economy from three aspects- investment . consumption and technique in theory and the effect of higher education is analyzed with data of 1999.The three chapter gives some conclusions .We include that higher education can drive the economy of a region .To improve the effect of higher education to the economy ,in the end some advice is given.
