| At present the innovation focus in elementary education in China is to advocate quality education overall. Basic teaching is for all the students and should lay stress on the development of the students' potentialities, the cultivation of capability and intelligence. Basic knowledge and skills as well as fundamental ability and attitude should be emphasized. Meanwhile moral education, character education and comprehensive teaching should also be strengthened. The reformation in elementary education will lead to the reformation of university entrance exam. What educators in middle school geography pay great attention to should be curriculum innovation as well as the changes in geography tests. Through data collection, sorting out and summarizing this paper has made an inquiry into the development and changes of curriculum reformation, learned from the spirit of geography curriculum reformation of different historical period, analyzed the influence of curriculum innovation to university entrance exam and provided support for geography teaching in high school. |
