The university entrance exam in geography, as the most used and valid form of the evaluation of geography study at present, is the means of popularizing national curriculum standard and area curriculum structure, as well as the method of testing the validity of the popularization of both practically. The changes in geography tests relate to the education aim, the structure and level of talent's characters, the teaching method and theory of teacher and the study method and interest of student etc.This article will adopt the way of documentary analyze as well as questionnaire investigation, which analyze the actualities of the evaluation of geography study of the home and overseas, and the university entrance exam in geography study at home. At the same time, the changes of its form, content and ability request of geography test, as well as the demonstration of the curriculum innovation aim in the test are also analyzed. On base of that, this article induces the three aspects, which impact on the teaching of geography teacher in high school, including: life-geography, info-geography and sustainable-geography in geography education in high school.The that established in 2001 by the Ministry of Education clearly indicates" Make sure to enforce the relationship between the curriculum and students' life." "Foster the students' ability of collecting of dealing with information" "Foster the students' consciousness of environment". The ideal also permeates in the geography exam, and then influences teaching.Basing on the data of the investigation on the teaching conditions in the high schools of Hunan province, the article puts forward some suggestions: Understand that life is the fertile soil of geography knowledge, including that the curriculum resources come from life and the teacher should know of the students' life; notice that information technology is a effective method to show geography knowledge, including increasing the information equipments and training geography teachers; realize that sustainable development education is the importance task of geography education including that improve the consciousness of sustainable development, to recognize the problems of sustainable development and resolved them.This article analyzes the changes of university entrance exam in geography and its influence on the teaching of geography teacher in high school. The purpose of this study is to carry out the sprits of curriculum innovation more deeply in high school. It will base on improving the educational quality and educating the high creative intellectuals.
