To cultivate comprehensive talents with global awareness, the new curriculum reform in full swing in our country, more and more towards the direction of integration. In recent years, the geography knowledge appeared frequently in Wen Zong history college entrance examination test questions, also complied with the requirements of the new curriculum reform。This article will history textbooks for high schools to people as the carrier, nearly three years Wen Zong history college entrance examination test question as the breakthrough, to their knowledge of geography in high school history teaching in the application of thinking, as the main idea of the full line. Hope that through the argument of this paper, to cause the high school history teachers attaches great importance to the knowledge of geography, optimize the teaching mode, to cultivate innovative comprehensive talent to find a good wayThis paper is divided into four main parts:the first part mainly elaborated the paper selected topic reason, the research purpose and significance, academic review, the research methods. The second part mainly discusses the geography knowledge in history teaching in the process of application, including natural geography, human geography, but in political geography of human geography, economic geography, cultural geography, fully demonstrated the importance of geography knowledge in high school history teaching. The third part expounds the geography knowledge in high school history teaching the practical significance of the application, mainly from both accords with the trend of the new curriculum reform and the trend of the university entrance exam this two perspective. The fourth part expounds the knowledge of geography in high school history teaching in the application of thinking, mainly from the application of the status quo, existing problems and reasons, solutions to these three aspects is discussed.
