Geography Education Assessment (GEA) is the indispensable part in geography education. By GEA, we can know the true state of geography education. And we can get some feedback information of geography education by analyzing the true state . These information are the base of establishment of national educational policy , and also are the necessary condition by which teachers can make their own teaching strategies and students can design their own learning methods so that geography teaching can arrive to it's goal by right direction . The paper inquiries experience of GEA and makes some thinking , at the same time, designing the geography ability test by American test style and testing our students in high schools, in order to provide some thoughts to construct perfect research system of GEA.The first chapter is the exordium . At last, the paper provides some suggestion and plan for the innovation of GEA and construction of evaluation system in China. Some relevant problems are discussed at here.
