Along with the development of society and science, people is required to improve their ability of mathematics .The traditional teaching of mathematics can't satisfy the demand of the learners yet, who want to obtain mathematical ability. New social environment asks everyone to have appropriate knowledge of mathematics so as to have the ability to solve problems of daily life as well as society, to think mathematically, to raise ability of thought and to enrich methods of it. This thesis is based on understanding and analysis of educational theory of realistic mathematics. It does analytical and practical research on mathematics teaching in middle school in an effort to provide the thought and approach for reference. The intention is to promote the students to study mathematics efficiently, to master it comprehensively and to use it properly. At the same time, it also offers some constructive suggestions to the present mathematics teaching reformation.The thesis consists of five chapters. It includes introduction, summarization of educational theory of realistic mathematics, explorations of mathematics concepts as well as mathematics thinking and recognization of realistic mathematics teaching.Part one--introduction. Based on analysis of the present mathematics teachingand comprehension of the theory, it expatiates the practical significance of the realistic mathematics education theory and puts forward research theme and method.Part two--theory construction. It introduces and explains the basic concepts,features and connotations of realistic mathematics, which is based on the comprehensive survey to the theory and some other related research achievements.Part three--It is a kind of positive research ,including the second and the thirdchapters. This thesis tries to prove and expound the theory by practicing, thinking and analyzing teaching examples related to theory.Last part is the supplement and conclusion of the second chapter. In the light of practice, analysis and summary of Part three, it tries to give some effective advices and counter measures for the current reformation of mathematics teaching. This part is the key of the thesis. Based on all, it poses some views and propositions in the aspects of teaching materials and teacher, and hopes that more and more person could pay more attentions to the current reformation of mathematics teaching, and suggest more ways.
