Inquire Learning is one of the effective ways to train students' initiative spirit and raise their practice ability. It is also a key link because it can turn the students from a boring study to a happy one. So it plays an irreplaceable and important role during the course reform of new round. Its popularization and in-depth with concrete disciplines are combined imperatively. At present, it lacks enough concern and study in Geography Inquire Learning, especially lacks researches to the theoretical system and practice models of Geography Inquire Learning in senior high school. This article mainly regards these two respects as cutting point and illustrates in four parts.The first part analyses some questions and causes in study of Geography Inquire Learning, and puts forward a theory and practice meaning of this study and has elaborated the research purposes and values.In the second part, the author attempts to construct a reasonable and complete framework of geography inquire learning from a systemic view which is combined with an interdisciplinary perspectives of pedagogy, psychology and geography teaching. At the same time, the author tries to form a system of geography inquire learning by focusing on the theoretical, practical and systemic aspects. This part will concentrate on the following aspects.Firstly, the author will concern with the nature and the connotation of the geography teaching and redefine the concept of it.Secondly, in the crucial moment that the curriculum reform is widely enforced at home, it is emphasized that the geography inquire learning should be paid more attention to and the basic theories of inquire learning should be related to geography science and teaching. Furthermore, it is suggested that the normal practice model of geography inquire learning should be treated as an enlightenment to enrich the methodology of undertaking inquire learning as well as a hint to promote further theoretical and practical study in this field.Finally, the author analyse the variables that may affect the model which isprone to share some light on the studies of the geography inquire learning model which is equipped with the characteristics of so called "school based".The third part concerns with investigation and research. It mainly employs both qualitative and quantitative approaches and makes statistical analysis about the material datum obtained through observation, informal discussions and questionnaires. One purpose of it is to analyze the current situation of present senior high study quality of geography, to check up the theory system, and to narrow the disparity between the theory idea and reality; A second purpose is to analyze the influence variables of the geography study quality developed in ordinary high schools in such a concrete region as Qingdao, and to probe into the geography study quality mode so as to offer reliable basis for making the pointed practice mode.The last part has pointed out the deficiency, the direction of improvement, and the research conclusion that exists in the research.The thesis goes through these two aspects-theoretical probation and investigation and research and follows the technological route of combing the perfectly-constructed theoretical system and practice to analyze, construct and substantiate the system of geography inquire learning. And also it attempts to construct a theory frame and practice mode suitable for consulting for the course form and ways of studying with great theory meaning and practice meaning.
