Research Of Northwestern University, Logistical And Social Reform

Along with the increasing development of socialist market economy and the progress made in the higher education innovation, the conflict is more and more significant among the laggard university logistics management, the operation mechanism, the market economy system and the continuaing need of higher education, which made it inevitable to reform the university logistics system. The aim of the reform is to ultimately change the university logistics management and operating mechanism, to form a new China-run logistics guarantee system according with the need of higher education reform.In this paper, the innovation of the logistics system of Northwest University was studied as an example. Based on the relative theory and review, the practice of the university logistics system in China, the history, the present situation, the achievements and the problems of the logistics system innovation of Northwest University were discussed. Combining with the relative theory of the logistics socialization innovation and the successful experiences of some universities, strategies for Northwest University logistics socialization innovation were suggested. The strategies comprises of the following five aspects: (1) using property rights as a breakthrough to ultimate the assets management system; (2) an operation mechanism according with the need of modern enterprises; (3) introducing the BOT investment to resolve the problem of financing shortage; (4) introducing CIS to build logistics enterprise image; (5) the stuff member's ideas innovation and the realization of service improvement. In this study, many means were used, including the combination of the theory and practice, qualification and quantification,induction and deduction, SWOT analysis and cases analysis.The aims of this study are to accumulate experience, find the problems and differences in the innovation, propose a reasonable strategy for the innovation, provide theoretical and practical support for our work, explore a new way for the realization of logistics socialization in the universities of higher learning.Our study on the logistics socialization innovation can be used as references for other universities.
