The curriculum reform of this new round requires changing the tendency to concentrate on teaching knowledge, emphasizes the active and positive studying attitude and makes the process of attaining the basic knowledge and skills become the process of studying how to study and forming the correct values. How to fulfill the function of the history teaching on guiding the students how to study, how to live and how to behave? According to the curriculum reform, this essay is trying to probe the necessity that the history teachers should be all-rounders. Moreover, this article integrates the history teaching practices with its can-be-foreseen tendency to develop, and it tries to research on how the history teachers gain the all-around qualities by analyzing the belief, capability, method and knowledge systems.
