Human society has entered a new century following the 20th century with high-developed technology, for which people have hailed about the achievements. But the strange reality that man is being dissimilated has woken up people that human beings have got into a troublesome situation in which part or the whole of man has turned into victims of rationality. The pursuit of substances and the need for surviving in the society have made people become unilateralists. However, it is impossible for people to escape from the development of technology and go back to the primitive life. So what is the direction for human beings? This problem is just like mystery of sphinx. In solving the problem, education seems to be an efficient way.Then what is the situation for education? If an investigation is done, there will be a clear conclusion that, like the society, education is changing before we know. Education, especially school education, which should be for the happiness of man, now tends to be a tool of bringing up the unilateralists. Under the control of examination-based educational system, and the drive of benefits, schools have become factories to produce labor for industry. And in this situation, students have become the raw materials, and school education has lost its value. This fact has caught the attention of the society. The government and educational professionals have started serious study from different aspects on this subject. The Outline of the Reform for the Fundamental Education is a sign of the change of educational values, which takes great concern about the relationship of education and life. And this idea has been spread rapidly in the nowadays educational field.This thesis argues the value of the view of life-caring education based on the achievements of the forerunners in the relevant areas, and constructs the practical strategy of the view of life-caring education so as to promote current educational reform.The thesis consists of three parts. The first part of the thesis, the origin of view of life-caring education, is about the importance and urgency of the study of view of life-caring education with the concern of the writer's own educational experiences and research and the relevant educational facts from different media.The second part of the thesis, the connotation of view of life-caring education, by analyzing the connotation of life, clearly defines the concept of view of life-caring education, points out the should-be connotation of view of life-caring education and its theoretical basis, and then in detail explains the view of purpose, students, teacher, curriculum, teaching and evaluation of view of life-caring education, which constructs the theoretical basis for the research of the practical strategy of view of life-caring education.The third part of the thesis, the research of the practical strategy of view of life-caring education, tries to offer strong support for the practice of view of life-caring education from six aspects, ie. the reconstruction of the aims of education, the system of curriculum, and the improvement of the multiple educational environment and evaluation.
