Mathematics, as a kind of culture, has become a symbol of the development of human civilization. As for any well-educated person in present society, whatever he is employed in, it is necessary for him to study maths, grasp maths and use maths. On the other hand, the profound reform in maths thoughts has led the core of this subject to highly-abstract road. Facing various abstruse mathematical theories and complex problem-solving methods, laymen have to draw back. As a result, to improve the acceptance of maths is an urgent task.As middle school maths teachers, we not only need to master maths teaching methods and textbooks, but should study the textbooks and teaching subjects further and more deeply as well, so that we can provide students broader space to develop and to create in the long run. Besides, only by understanding students further and according to the reality conditions of students can we adopt the teaching methods and strategies aiming at them, in order to cultivate students and find their creative abilities. Therefore, we can achieve quality education.Based on the consideration above, this thesis lays the foundation on constructivism theory, humanism theory. Through the theory "Maths comes from life but beyond life" guiding practical teaching, by analyzing some typical examples, this thesis illuminates that returning maths to life benefits the students' interest development, and does good to improve students' creative thinking. As the teaching theory practice in quality education, this research provides sufficient materials and reliable bases. Hope it can make reference to the proceeding curriculum reform of quality education.
