Inner Mongolia Region Of National Education Development Of Information Technology Research

Over the years, the IT-based education in China has been developing rapidly. It is not only a process that integrates information media into education, but also serves to revolutionize educational ideas. The aim of it is to train qualified personnel with creativity and modernize education. And this article examines development of the IT-based national education in the Inner Mongolian region from three aspects. First, our country has designated the definite tasks for the IT-based education: to improve greatly the means of the educational technology and the level of the IT-based education; to support the construction of the modern distant educational networks based on the Chinese educational network of science and research and the system of satellite and video; to utilize fully those facilities in existence and to engage better in the video and audio education and the computer assisting instruction (CAI); to disseminate the instruction of computer and IT knowledge at the senior-high schools, the better-equipped junior high schools and elementary schools; to make accessible the Chinese educational network of science and research in all the colleges and universities, the major vocational schools of medium sizes, and the middle and elementary schools gradually; to tap vigorously the superb educational and teaching software; to provide chances of life-time learning for the society through the modern distant education network. All these works mark the movement of our IT-based education into a new stage. Second, with the progress of the Chinese IT-based in education, the IT-based national education in Inner Mongolia has developed rapidly for the time being, including the hardware and software environments and so on. In a sense, the IT-based education is a power, the essential ways and paths of realizing modernization. Arduous tasks to develop the IT-based national education will face the Inner Mongolian region due to its particularity of the national education and the weak economic developments. To realize the IT-based national education, the educational practitioners need to emancipate their minds and equip their outlooks on the national pedagogic achievements and benefits with modern educational theories Third, the conflicts between the educational tradition and modernity vary with regard to the processes of the IT-based education and modernization of education. This is especially obvious in the less developed areas in Inner Mongolian region, in which stagnant developments have emerged. The key to settle this question lies in the fact that Inner Mongolia must develop its own IT-based national education through integrating the national education in the Inner Mongolia with the platform of the Chinese IT-based education effectively, taking in the progressive cultures of other regions, and intrinsically unifying the tradition and the modernity of the national education.
