It is a inevitable result of information society to make the education information-oriented. Providing teachers with training about educational technology is the requirements of the times,is to adapt to school education and teaching reform,and it's also the sustainable development of teachers in their own needs.From the relevant investigation data,I learnt that many problems of the primary and secondary school teachers' education technology training are waiting to be solved.Considering the present status of technical training of primary and secondary education in China as well as the international trend,there are many problems still exiting,we should ensure the training from separation to integration,from teaching to research,from the out-of-school to school-based,and work closely with the academic association.This paper starting from the theoretical study,On the basis of literatures review,has gained some valuable information:on one hand,summarizing the existing problems in the training through the analysis of the current status;on the other hand,generalizing the advantages of the school-based training in teachers' educational technology ability training.Learning the overall teachers' level of educational technology ability in Dali national secondary school through a survey.Combining with the Education Technology Ability Standards for Elementary and middle schools Teachers(CETS) and the new curriculum standards,I discussed the refinement of the English Teacher Education Technology Competency Standards,according to the characteristics of English.I designed the process of Dali secondary school English teachers' technical capabilities of specific school-based training with the general idea of the performance improvement.Form the observation in training process and the latter interviews with teachers,I had done some analysis and discussion on the issues such as:limited hardware,the qualifications of teachers,problems Of education resource expanding,the enthusiasm of teachers' participating to the training.And improving the original design through reflection. School-based educational technology ability training could not only focus on the capacity of information technology,but more importantly,through the instructional design applied to the teaching;sub-disciplinary of training will help avoid "training" and "teaching" phase separation; School-based educational technology training needs perfect system,Inspiring teachers' consciousness to enhance educational technology ability is the key;Pay attention to the importance of evaluation and reflection on educational technology school-based training.
