In the new course reform we put closer attention to the evaluation of teachers' work. The new course reform proposes that course evaluation should promote the development, keeping a foothole in the process. And it emphasizes to set up an evaluation system that promotes the whole and continuous development of students, teachers and course itself. On the base of synthetical evaluation, it pays more attention to individual progress and latent energy in many sides. This is more than a reform of evaluation system, but and more importantly, the transformation of theories, means and process of evaluation. A successful evaluation system will help to improve education quality and to set up communicative relation between students and teachers. The developing evaluation arouses our attention for its aims of improving the development of teachers and emphasizes individuality at the core of teachers. This essay attempts to review current evaluation system of teachers' work and follow the spirits of elementary education and course reform. And based on this according to the realities, it sets up new systems of evaluation contents and operation process that help to promote teachers' improvement, and pays attention to the several relations during evaluation. In this way, the evaluation of teachers' work changes from simple judgement into one that promotes teachers' continuous development.
