This paper studies senior middle school graduates' structure of school values, and tries to reveal the differences between the stages in school decision making by means of questionnaire. The results indicate:1. The structure of school values has two parts. The first part can be classified into eight factors through exploratory factor reduction: conditions of college, possibility of entering college, development of the city, actual strength, comfort of living, reputation of college, strength of college, attraction between college and senior middle school graduates, this part refers to choosing college. The second part is classified into seven factors: person's perspective, means of person's development, possibility of entering major, person's willing, future strength in competition, reputation of major, these factors refer to choosing major. All these factors involve purpose, means and situation in action of school decision making.2. Senior middle school graduates in different sex, subject and marks in the entrance examination have significantly different on the factors.3. Making the decision and appraising the choice are two different stages in school decision making. Apart from the factors reputation of college and reputation of major., all the factors show the significant differences on two stages.
