In order to research the characteristics and relationships between the job anxieties and the career decision-making difficulities among college graduates, when facing job-selection and employment, we have made a questionnaire on the job anxieties of college graduates, with reference to former researches. By using the Questionnaire on Job Anxieties made by us and the Questionnaire on the Career Decision-making Difficulities made and revised by Lina as measurement tools ,we made a survey among college graduates in some of the colleges in Henan province. By using factor analysis, variance analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and other statistical methods plus SPSS11.5, LISREL8.7, HLM5.04 and other statistical tools, we analysized the valid data acquired from the survey.The results are as follows:First, the job anxieties among college graduates in our country consist of two dimensions: physical behaviors and personal feeling, as were showed in the results of exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. And the Job Anxieties Questionnaire made by us has good reliability and validity.Second, the following factors have significant effect on the job anxieties among college graduates: gender, school, the number of siblings, monthly family income, family residence, the educational background of the father, whether or not to take the Entrance Examinations for Postgraduate Schools, whether or not having acted as a student leader in college, major satisfaction degree, job prospects of the major, and expectations of applying for a job. On the contrary, the educational background of the graduates and the mother, whether having found a job or not, whether having received career guidance or not, whether having a girlfriend or boyfriend or not, and whether or not having participated in social practice do not affect the total points obviously.Third, the following factors affect greatly parts of the factors of the job decision-making difficulties: gender, the educational background of the father, the number of siblings, whether having a girlfriend or boyfriend or not, whether having found a job or not, whether having received career guidance or not, whether or not having acted as a student leader, part-time experiences, the number of times for job hunting and application, major satisfaction degree, job prospects of the major, and expectations of applying for a job. By contrast, the educational background of the graduates and the mother, monthly family income, and family residence have no noticeable effect.Fourth, the aggregate score Anxiety of Obtaining Employment was positively correlated with the total of career decision-making difficulties, sub questionnaire survey,and Sub factor questionnaire. Lack of preparation shows significant predictors for the score Anxiety of Obtaining Employment and the dimensions of anxiety scores. Lack of preparation on the physical behavior and total employment projections show a significant variation in the different schools, and lack of preparation in the forecast of personal feeling was more consistent in the different schools or similar. Irrational beliefs and indecisiveness shows significant predictors for the score Anxiety of Obtaining Employment and the dimensions of anxiety scores, and projections at different schools are similar. Insufficient self-information shows significant predictors for the score Anxiety of Obtaining Employment and the dimensions of anxiety scores, and projections at different schools are similar. The internal conflicts and discomfort emtion factor shows significant predictors for the score Anxiety of Obtaining Employment and the dimensions of anxiety scores, and projections at different schools are similar.
