The Yantai Vocational College has many advantages in the process of development, but at the same time, it also faces many difficulties. This thesis analyses this college by comparing with other vocational colleges in the areas of disciplines, teachers, and management, and brings up some practicable plans for the improvement of the competitive advantages of this college. First: set up organizational culture. It could standard staffs' daily action. Second: advance human resource. Human resource is the most valuable resource, college should make good use of it. Third: set up specialized courses and capable lessons. We should adjust and set up specialized courses, according to our own conditions and social need to strength our college's adaptation. Fourth: cooperation. The relationship of nations is closer and closer now, so we must cooperate with other nations to improve our international competition. Meanwhile, we should cooperate with business.
