The educational thought of Mr. Wei Shusheng is an important part among the many Chinese educational theories, which has been studied and researched by the teachers and educational researchers for more than 20 years. And a great achievement has been made. However, some unavoidable questions appeared when we try to make a further study so as to meet the challenge of the educational innovation. We made a research through 400 questionnaires and the conclusion that we drew from them are as follows: there are still many misleadings towards Wei shusheng's educational thought; many schools are undertaking faulty learning system; Some teachers want to master the theory and put it into practice in a short time; some are reluctant to use it; some of them haven't mastered the real spirit of the theory. In order to solve these problems, this thesis suggests that we make a further study on the theory, the educational administrative authorities take effective activities to guide the teachers to use the theory properly; scientific learning systems be made by the schools; teachers make innovations while learning and practicing. Thus far, Wei shusheng's educational thought can be studied and used much further and more scientifically.
