With the extensive application of mathematics, mathematics education administration pays more attention to the teaching of mathematics modeling. Ordinary Senior Secondary Mathematics Curriculum Standard in 2002 prescribes definitely that the idea of mathematics exploration & research and mathematics modeling need integrate into all modules and special topics in different forms, and arrange a relatively complete activity at least in times of high school.The core of research is about assessment of students' mathematics modeling. The teaching background and the knowledge of mathematics modeling are expatiated here. Then, given that the discussion about assessment of mathematics modeling , and the cognition of evaluation in students' mathematics modeling and several aspects are demonstrated-the problem that is put forward, the application of mathematics knowledge,the process of mathematics modeling, the matter of making use of computers, reasonable utilizing of data and information, cooperation. For the request of quality education and study for long life, process evaluation is advocated more and more in education. The assessment of mathematics modeling emphasizes both result and process.The essays about mathematics modeling of high school students in Beijing are wealth. The research assesses these essays from previously mentioned aspects, not only we can understand the aim of developing mathematics modeling in high school and mathematics modeling is developed properly and strongly, so that showing flashing points of the essays but also finding students' resource sufficiently.
