At present, our foundation education course and teaching textbook reformation are carrying on continuously. The new education and the teaching principles have been put forward and expanded, which pounds at the traditional education thought and the teaching ideas, and makes the history teaching of the middle school be placed in a transformation period, and many problems have to be studied and discussed. The history textbook is the basis of the school teaching , and it is also the main target of the teacher's teaching and the student's learning; its function to carry out the history education target can't be replaced. So researching on the new history textbook under the background of the new course reformation, will be of important significance for implementing the basic spirit of the new course reform into the classroom teaching in the middle and for the student's development. This article contrast the history textbook published by Beijing Normal University Press with the history textbook published by People's Education Press. They are compiled according to the rules of standards in history curriculum:The dissertation consists of four parts. Part I for " the background and thinking of the national course reformation", set forth the background , the causes and the thinking of the foundation education reformation; Part II for " the new textbook ideas under the course foundation", discuss textbook's function and position in teaching, the history textbook's function and position in history teaching and the rules of standards' requirement and suggestion on the history textbook; Part III for "contrast the history textbook published by Beijing Normal University Press with the history textbook published by People's Education Press", set forth the two textbooks' new system, style and contest, and contrast each textbook's advantage and disadvantage; Part IV set forth how to improve knowledge structure, strengthen learning means direction, develop picture's effection, improve exercises design and emend mistaken historical facts. I want to cast a brick to attract jade, and make our new history textbook be better to serve in the implementation of the student's overall development and new course reformation.
