Preliminary Study The Vocational Mordol Research Study

The so called sciential economics calls for intellectuals who are able to innovate. As a new exploration for quality education, the Ministry of Education in China has set up courses of research study at senior high schools. The purpose is to overcome the drawback in traditional education that deprives the consciousness and abilities of innovation from students as a result of attaching too much importance to the learning and conveying of the knowledge in textbooks. Seen from the discussions of research study among the academic circles and the front line of teaching, two main problems need to be focused on, should be regarded. First, most discussions about how to develop research study lay their basis upon senior high schools, so there is a vacancy when it comes to advancing the research and practice of research study in vocational schools. Second, most people see the so called research study merely as a subject to be studied whereas few practice it in real teaching especially in the teaching of moral education course though a few combination can be found in scientific courses such as physics, chemistry, biology etc. In author's opinion, vocational schools shall advocate developing research study as well, and it shall be treated as a method of learning and employed in a variety of subjects. This paper will discuss the connotation, characteristic, purpose, approach, theory base and significance about developing research study in vocational schools. The discussion in the paper will be made on two main aspects- academic research and practice exploration. At the same time, some detailed principles, procedure and reflection of implementation are put forward as well on the basis of practice exploration of research study carried out in the author's vocational school.
