| Nowadays many countries have taken advantage of education technology as a medium of breakthrough to incorporate information technology into the reform and development of education. Curriculum integration has become the road to such a goal. China highly emphasizes the significance of Curriculum integration not only by defining the purposes and contents of the Curriculum integration, but also by providing considerable financial support in practice.However, teachers still encounter various problems in their high school physics teaching practice while using multi-media courseware, which sometimes not only provide no significant assistance, but also hinder the completion of the teaching aims.Teachers need academic guidance, while mainstream ideology provides but promises and presumptions: technological potentiality, conceptions based on teaching theories and political urges. In a word, the problem lies in the lack of feasibility of the theories in the classroom physics teaching practices.How to make full use of the positive effects of courseware in Physics teaching in high school? The topic, in terms of contents, consists of two parts: First, the analysis of the characteristics of courseware in the context of the featurss of Physics teaching in high school, with the answers to the question of "Where can courseware be applied?" provided in details; Second, the analysis of the relationship between courseware and other teaching elements, suggesting various relationships that teachers should manage to cope with wisely should they want to achieve the positive effects of courseware in the teaching system.The research is based on teaching practice, incorporating theories into applications aimed at solving practical teaching problems. It is both applied research and micro-research. The major research method is Action Research, which includes: (1) Data collection: in-class observation, inquiries, student-oriented interviews, teacher-oriented interviews etc; (2) reveal problems by decoding the data and statistics; (3) schedule and experiment, reflect on the results to reach hidden laws, seek causes and solutions to the problems, and deepen the research in a spiral way.Finally a systematic and concrete theory on the problem of courseware application is reached, and a series of first-class courseware is produced, hopefully will be of use to further self-improving and peer research in Physics teaching. |
