The contemporary university students are living in the Chinese transformative period. And their value orientation, to a certain extent, has already become a barometer of social changes. Their conception on consumption has a great change, which shows the mental attitude of the Young Generation in certain meaning. So, by it we can see the civilization degree of the whole society. As a piece of special consuming groups, the contemporary university students' consumption idea demonstrates the new characteristic in globalization era. Their current moral situation on consumption makes people gratified and troubled too.This thesis proceeds from angle of the ethics. It regards contemporary university student's consumption problem as the research object. By the dialysis of contemporary university student's consumption idea, consumption content, consumption structure and consumption pattern, the consumption ethics that university students should establish is summarized. At the same time, the importance of moral education on consumption to university students is pointed out. And then the ways to the moral education about consumption is put forward. Try hard to lead the university students to establish the consumption ethics of the scientific civilization and make them hold the correct consumption direction, go out of the consumption mistaken idea, perfect one's own ethical personality of consumption, thus form correct world outlook, outlook on life and values.This thesis is divided into three parts altogether.In the first part, the consumption morals current situation of contemporary university students is introduced. The contemporary university student's consumption source is mainly offered by the family. Their consumption expenditure shows a tendency to rise up. And the consumption structure is incompletely reasonable. The irrational consumption ideas, such as the over consuming consumption and unrealistic allying consumption, occupy certain market yet among university students.In the second part, the consumptive characteristics of contemporary university students and the reasons are summarized. And then the condition of consumption on moral are appraised. The thesis begins with the practical consumption of the contemporary university students, excavates the respective characteristic of every aspect in consuming thoroughly, and then analyzes the reasons in terms of economy, society and culture. At last, the corresponding consumption morals are appraised in view of its condition of consumption and its ethical rationality and negative effects are pointed out.In the third part, the importance of moral education on consumption to university students is pointed out, and the consumption ethics that university students should establish is summarized. At the same time, the way to education of consuming moral is explored. Strengthen university student consuming moral education is the demands of development of market economy, improvement on moral civilization quality of the university students and promotion on spiritual development of civilization. By the effective educational way, we will lead the university students to establish the consumption moral concepts on hardworking and thrifty, rational and moderate consumption and concept of the green consumption.
